Selection Process
The selection process for RRB NTPC positions is rigorous, consisting of three stages,
1. Computer Based Test (CBT-1),
This is the first stage of the selection process and is mandatory for all posts. It is a 100-mark exam with 100 questions divided into three sections:
- General Awareness: 40 questions
- Mathematics: 30 questions
- General Intelligence and Reasoning: 30 questions
The exam duration is 1.5 hoursand there is a negative marking scheme where 1/3 mark is deducted for every wrong answer.
2. Computer Based Test (CBT-2),
